Blue letters and a vignette of a cross and a feather are on lt. green cloth with wear and fading. The front endpaper has a map of the area around Lake Huron, Lake Erie, and Lake Ontario. The back pastedown has a map of the area between Nottawasaga Bay and Lake Simcoe. Owner's name on the title page. From the front flap, "This vivid historical novel realistically tells the story of the Christianizing of the Huron Indians and their unsuccessful struggles against extinction by the indomitable Iroquois.
