I have had this tray for years and used it for displays in my vintage shop. It is very worn and rusty as shown and I cannot find any date markings on it as seen in the reproduction trays.The metal seems to be a heavier weight. I cannot say if this is an original or repro. I do know that even in the bad shape it is in I have loved using it over the years and it's character as is was what made me buy it years ago.
