This has markings throughout the book and previous owners name written on front inside cover as well as writing on the inside back covers. There have been large star stickers placed on various lessons thru the book. The front inside blank cover pages have been ripped out. There are Teacher's instructions in the front half of the book. The book is readable despite the markings and star stickers. It was a very well used school reader! Remarkable that it has survived over 100 years! As shown the coverboards are very faded.
