Review
Another delightful book from Jungle Wagon Press for pre-school-age kids. With simple sentences that repeat throughout the book, the theme is 'You are good. You are wonderful. I love you forever.' Reinforcing the theme of positive parent-child relationships are the original, fantasy-type illustrations of a happy dragon family (very non-threatening) that depict typical events in the life of a toddler. Author Elizabeth Brown, a teacher/librarian, teams up with illustrator Jeff Gale to achieve just the right balance of life lessons, adventure and self-affirming ingenuity with a touch of humor. And if your child likes to draw, there is plenty of inspiration here. A great introduction to the joys of reading with your child. --Rock River Times
